OCM and the Ship of Tolerance at Gairloch Gardens

Students from our school proudly took part in The Ship of Tolerance project, joining over 2,000 youth in art workshops that culminated in a sail-raising event on May 31 at Gairloch Gardens.

At the invitation of Oakville Galleries and The Ship of Tolerance, whose mission is to educate and connect youth from different continents, cultures, and identities through the language of art, over 2,000 students from the Halton-Peel region participated in workshops leading up to the raising of the sail on May 31st at Gairloch Gardens.

Our school was proudly represented by piano students Aleksia Dzelajlija, Ema Krivokuca, and Ahmed Zekri; trumpet player Alexander Barychev; and guitarist Gosha Chmikhoskii. We commend them for their excellent representation of our school at this meaningful event.
